A payout, or a disbursement, is a payment made from a platform to a supplier on that platform. Examples include:
Payout fraud occurs when suppliers in marketplaces and online platforms manipulate the system to create fake revenue. They might commit money laundering, sidestep financial regulations, form fraudulent networks with other suppliers, bypass Know Your Customer (KYC) checks, and ultimately harm your business financially and legally.

To request a recommendation before paying out to a recipient, send a request to our Payout endpoint using the Payout checkpoint.
To use the Payout checkpoint, add score=payout
as a query parameter to the URL.
Keeping us informed about each payout attempt’s outcome is not just beneficial for us; it helps tailor our fraud prevention models to fit your unique business needs more precisely. By doing so, you ensure that our system reflects your actual operations, leading to more accurate recommendations and, ultimately, a more secure and efficient payout process.
After receiving a recommendation
Once you’ve acted on our recommendation (resulting in the payout being processed, blocked, or cancelled) updating us with the taken action is crucial. This feedback is instrumental in refining and improving the rules and models tailored to your business operations.

After completing integration you should test that you correctly handle our payout recommendation responses.
To test your integration we allow you to send specific requests to force specific recommendations to be returned.
You should then ensure that you handle each of the possible recommended actions correctly.

To force us to respond with specific recommendations send a request to the Payout endpoint and set the supplier.email
field to an email address with one of the email domains shown below.
